Subject syllabus

1st Origin and types of waste. Basic concepts. Information systems on waste.
Ways of waste management.
2nd Machinery and mechanical equipment for size reduction. Design and calculation of FWD
jaw, conical, cylindrical, knife, etc.
3rd Design and calculation of the hammer mills, ball and granulation,
vibration, etc. michadlových
4th Classification of secondary raw materials. Screeners mechanical, hydraulic, mechanical-
hydraulic, air separators Hydrocyclones, stationary and rotating, etc.
5th Separation of secondary raw materials. Principles of separation (briefly).
Washer drum, trough, combined, specific types of separator,
drainage.
6th Separating the weirs and weir in sázečkách, helical separator,
hydrocyclones, pneumatic spreader. Magnetic and electrical separators.
Principles of construction machines for separation of secondary raw materials.
7th Flotation machines for secondary raw materials. Flotation měsidlové, pneumatic and
combined.
8th Equipment for roasting. Cryogenic processing of secondary raw materials and
hydrometalurg. processes. Design of equipment for powder metallurgy.
9th Facilities for treatment kusovitosti raw materials. Construction sinter belts,
pelletizing plant, burning pellets, furnace grate and
shaft. Equipment for the briquetting of secondary raw materials, construction
briquetting presses for static and dynamic briquetting. Theoretical Analysis
briquetting.
10th Municipal waste. Machines and equipment for sorting and separate collection
municipal wastes. Design and calculations sorters and separators. Projection

11th Equipment for heat treatment of municipal waste incinerators and construction
pyrolysis reactors. Industrial particle separators for processing
of emission incinerators. Design and calculation.
12th Landfill and waste storage. Types of landfills. Design of landfills.
Processes occurring in landfills. Machines and equipment for landfill operation and
their rehabilitation. Stationary and mobile lines for treatment of waste to landfill.
13th The equipment and lines for heat, exhalation, solidification, and fractional
biological decontamination of soils. Design calculations and construction equipment.
Reclamation.
14th Arrangement of equipment for composting waste. Closed and open
composting. Solution structure of individual nodes and the calculation of basic
parameters.
15th Basic procedures for processing and disposal of industrial waste
individual industries. Recycling and regeneration.
16th Wastes from mining, transport and processing of oil, radioactive waste.
17th Wastes from agriculture, food processing, logging, processing of mined
wood and biomass.
18th Construction of machines for mechanical treatment and processing of waste from artificial
materials. The design of crushers, mills, and conveyors, basic calculations.
19th Current trends in resource utilization. New directions in the development of devices for
waste management. Trends preparation and processing of secondary raw materials.
20th Recycling waste. Sources of secondary raw materials. Arrangement for the separation lines
and processing of secondary raw materials.
