2. Non-harmonized Products – definition, risks, assessment methods, and implications for placing products on the market.
3. General Product Safety – technical documentation, labeling, obligations of economic operators, reporting of hazardous products, and market surveillance.
4. Technical Requirements and Conformity Assessment of Products – law on technical requirements for products, conformity assessment procedures, documentation, and certification.
5. Harmonized Standards – legal binding, role in commercial relations, and support for innovation.
6. Machinery and Electrotechnical Equipment – legal regulation, obligations of economic operators, conformity assessment, special requirements, and placing into service.
7. Pressure, Radio, and Electrical Equipment – technical requirements, conformity assessment procedures, certificates of conformity, and restrictions on hazardous substances.
8. Patents – Principles and Legal Framework – definition, types of patents, conditions for protection of innovations, international aspects, and the role of patents in industry.
9. Utility Models and Design Protection – legal framework, conditions for protection, filing procedures, and documentation.
10. Trademarks and Trade Names – legal requirements, filing, protection procedures, and international registration.
11. Certification Processes and Documentation – CE marking, product certification procedures, connection with patent protection and legal claims.
