Subject syllabus

Logistics of bulk materials, the definition of ideal bulk materials, loose definition
materials, defining the differences between the basic states of criteria elections
transport or processing system for bulk materials.
Geometric properties of bulk materials, particle size, morphology,
assessment methodology and theory (Gauss, RRSB, logarithmic distribution and more
statistics).
Mechanical and physical properties of bulk materials, descriptive variables, influence
on the flow and pressure profile. The principle of linear shear machine, basic equations,
rotary shear machine, other constructions.
Methods for measuring the angle of internal friction, energy concept, the degree of influence
partial physical quantities on the mechanical and physical properties of bulk
wt.
The degree of influence of various physical parameters on the mechanical and physical properties of bulk materials, např.vlhkost, shape, mechanical linkages, electrical ties, Roscouv diagram, structure, principles and applications. A general model of pressure distribution in the bulk compositions, traditional and modern models. Method of solution pressure distribution according to Jansen, Rankin, Pascal.
Ideal loose material, deepening relationships, piston mechanism
flow definition, description, boundary conditions, plastic mechanism flow definition,description, boundary conditions.
Pressure peaks, model creation, technical consequences. Pulsating character
the flow of bulk materials, wall frequency.
Disorders of the flow of bulk materials, static and dynamic arch. Weights and
core flow, mass flow Jenikeho theory, application ideal bulk materials.
Application properties of bulk materials in the construction of transport,
process and storage facilities, pressing bulk materials (Balšinova equation).
