Subject syllabus
1. Assignment of a semester project in the field of aircraft maintenance, including the definition of the topic, the project’s objectives, and a timeline for completion.
2. Analysis of a selected maintenance problem, process, or procedure using available technical, operational, or service documentation.
3. Citation ethics, plagiarism, and self-plagiarism.
4. Ongoing consultation on the semester project; monitoring of progress.
5. Artificial intelligence tools and possibilities for their use in completing the semester project.
6. Field trip to an aircraft manufacturer focusing on practical knowledge of design, production, assembly, quality control, and the impact of design solutions on subsequent maintenance.
7. Ongoing consultation on the semester project.
8. Field trip to an aircraft maintenance organization, focusing on actual maintenance procedures, work organization, maintenance records, control mechanisms, and operational safety requirements.

10. Presentation and defense of the semester project and discussion of the results.
