The program of lectures:
1. The importance of metrology as a science, its status and distribution. Basic concepts. Units.
2. Law on Metrology in the harvest of Act No. 119/2000 Coll. Institutions engaged in metrology - the contents of activity
3. Errors of measurement uncertainty (measurement data)
4. Basic principles of measuring devices (mechanical, electrical, optical, pneumatic, ...)
5. Metrology length (length standards, standard gauge, gauges). Interference of light and its use in metrology
6. Metrology plane angle (units, gauges, control methods)
7. Control and measurement of selected parameters of machine parts (threads, gears)
8. The quality of machined surface, surface roughness, (basic parameters, control methods, ...)
9. Requirements for metrology laboratories
Exercises outline:
1st Introduction to work in the laboratory of metrology, safety.
2nd Measuring three of the six tasks, processing of measurement reports.
3rd Evaluation exercise. credit
Task List:
Task 1: Direct and indirect method of measuring
Task 2: Checking the dimensional accuracy of holes
Task 3: Checking the cones
Task 4: Checking the external thread (třídrátková method)
Task 5: Checking the roller (flat) calibers
Task 6: Check roughness
Internal guidelines: Students are required to furnish to the exercises in this course work gloves and slippers for metrological measurements
