1. Basics of dynamic loads – Wöhler curve, Smith diagram, Haigh diagram.
2. Dynamically loaded bolted joints with preload – calculation of bolted joints in the area of high cycle fatigue (infinite life).
3. Flanged joints of pressure vessels – overview of applicable standards, types of flanges and gaskets, calculations.
4. Requirements for flanged joint tightness and emission limits – leakage rate requirements .
5. Issues of bolted joint assembly.
6. Determination of equivalent load – measurement examples, load spectrum analysis, RainFlow method.
7. Gear transmissions – standard gear profile, gear correction and its benefits.
8. Meshing properties of gears, non-standard profile, gear modification.
9. Spur gearboxes – design and calculation principles.
10. Dynamic calculation of a shaft loaded with constant force at constant speed.
11. Dynamic calculation of a shaft in the area of permanent strength – calculation of an intermediate shaft of a two-stage gearbox.
12. Shaft couplings, design and calculation of selected types.
13. Dynamically loaded welded joints – principle of standardized calculation.
