Subject syllabus

The course will focus on acquainting students with the testing of electronic control units, sensors and actuators car. To understand the management function will be explained the basic principles of function units and the relevant regulations, be familiar with the diagnosis. Lectures are as follows:

1st Car Diagnostics
• Serial
• Parallel
• Vibrodiagnostics
• Tribodiagnostics
2nd The importance of electronics in the car
• Description ABS
• Description ASR
• Description of ESP
• Operation and diagnosis of major sensors (speed sensor, position, pressure, gas, ...)
3rd CAN bus and its importance for diagnosis
• CAN and LIN bus, switching and control protocols for data transmission
• Control unit in the car, their functions and connections
4th Description and options tester VAG
5th Bus diagnostics with the use of software PCAN Explorer
6th Diagnosis of ABS, ASR and ESP
7th Parallel diagnosis
• AUTOSKOP II - Description, measurement
8th Measurement
• lambda
• injection and ignition
• Throttle potentiometer
• Camshaft position
9th Comfort system, door controller, alarm and central locking.
10th Vibrodiagnostics, Tribodiagnostics

E-learning

The course is conducted with podporpou e-learning. All materials are made ​​available and included in each study week.
Evaluation is done using the tests in e-learning.
