Subject syllabus

1. Introduction to the subject and content of the studied subject. Devices of automatic control their divided, propertis (software and technical tools), control systems, hierarchical structure of control.
2. Overview and devided of sensors.
3. Overview and devided of el. drive units.
4. Distributed management systems, team work, its implementation and skills of a system engineer. SCADA/MMI systems their properties and deployment in hierarchical structure of control.
5. Industrial networks, basic types, 7-layer model, physical layer…. application layer.
6. Wifi networks, configuration of access points in industry and AD-HOC configuration, connection of control systems to technological process (ILAN, LAN, WLAN). Sample of laboratory set.
7. Control systems used in technical practice, their devided, (programmable logic controllers, IPC, uP, controllers, …).
8. Interfaces of control systems, sensors, power units and actuators used in technical practice (unification / amplification of signals, conversion of quantities, ...).
9. Description of single-chip computers of higher series, description of selected implemented modules.
10. Programming of single-chip computers using higher programming language.
11. Methods of debugging proposed algorithms in simulation environment and gradual runing of real task.
12. Devices supporting communication I2C, SPI (MEMS, memories, converters,…) and special circuits for signal processing.
13. Intelligent sensors their internal structure and description of realization.
14. Time reserve.
