Osnova předmětu

Lectures:
1. Technical system (TS) - Functions of the technical system and principles of their performance. Technical process (TP). Characteristics of a technical system by means of measurable parameters. Life cycle of a technical system.

2. Need to upgrade existing or design new TS/TP. Contradictions.

3. Assignment for improvement or design of new TS/TP. Transformation of the assignment into the form of a requirements list. Searches (definition of areas, objectives and deliverables).

4. Project concept of innovation or design of new TS/TP. Plan, schedule, resources.

5. TS/TP design procedure. Description of the design process and its outputs.

6. Building the TS/TP structure. Morphological matrix. Solution concept. Solution variants.

7. Objective assessment of the proposed solution options.

8. Elaboration of the chosen option. Design process. Product documentation.

9. Trends of technical evolution. S curve. Exhaustion of the functional principle.

10. SWOT analysis. Root cause analysis.

11. Brainstorming. Description of the method and rules.

12. Generalization and search for possible principles. Inertia of thinking.

13. Time-Size-Cost method for defining boundary conditions of the solution. Smart Little People method for finding solutions.
