3) Communication safety, check and correction codes, parity, CRC
4) ISO/OSI reference model
5) RS232/422/485 serial communication
6) Modbus protocol - application examples
7) Universal Serial Bus (USB), principles, device classes, functions
8) Controller Area Network Bus (CAN), examples of applications in industry
9) Ethernet-based communication, industrial applications
10) Profinet, EtherCAT - principles, applications
11) Optical communication - principles, advantages, parameters
12) Industrial wireless communication
13) Inter-circuit communication I2C/SPI, 1Wire
