Subject syllabus

1. Introduction, specifics and features of industrial PC and PLC architecture, categories.
2. Binding of control system with binary environment by means of industrial cards and modules.
3. Coupling of the control system with the analog environment by means of industrial cards and modules. Independent design of control system according to assignment - assignment.
4. Types of A / D converters, principles.
5. Concept and design of control system according to set parameters, individual components. Sensors - types, connection to control system.
6. I / 0 connection - analogue, digital, optoisolation, description of control system realization.
7. Safety and diagnostics of control system (local and remote).
8. Methods influencing the reliability of IPC based control systems.
9. Temperature measurement, types of sensors, properties.
10. Strain gauge measurements.
11. Special cards for drive control
12. Kits for remote and distributed data collection, distributed control systems, (ADAM4000 series etc.)
13. Independent design of control system according to assignment - evaluation.
14. Credit.
