The subject represents a continuation of the Bc second year studies, Basics for Combustion. It summarises and deepens the knowledge of fuel energy parameters, and combustion balance calculations, and completes them by basics of combustion kinetics. Issues of harmful substance formation by combustion, inclusive CO2 abatement, follow.
