Subject syllabus

1. Primary energy from fossil fuels, its transformation into electrical energy and heat efficiency of transformation.
2. Boilers for power blocks and heating plants, boilers characteristics. Special boiler burning alternative fuels, the use of waste heat, HRSG boilers, boiler characteristics.
3. Dividing by the working fluid boilers, boilers with natural circulation and forced circulation boilers and flow.
4. Principles of function and design of the evaporator with natural circulation evaporator flow, flow stability.
5. Combustion principles in terms of NOx, the primary action. SNCR and SCR, the principle functions and their use.
6. Dividing by the fuel boilers and type of fireplace, boiler grate furnace. Boilers with powder fireplace, type of construction and arrangement of fuel fabrication.
7. Boilers with granulation výtavným fireplace and hearth, their types, construction and principles of design.
8. Boilers with fluidized bed furnace, the principle function. Fluidized bed škvárující and neškvárující, stationary and circulating.
9. Boilers with neškvárující fluid bed boilers with a stationary fluidized bed, scope of application, power control, additive desulfurization.
10. Boilers with circulating fluidized bed, their types and temperature control layer. The concept of organization and approach.
11. Boilers for gas and oil, types and designs. Boilers for burning alternative fuels, biomass, municipal waste, waste heat boilers, HRSG boilers.
12. Superheaters and water heaters, types according to design, wiring and sorting, characteristics superheater. Basic balance and temperature control couples.
13. Air heater, the reasons for its creation, the types of heaters recuperative and regenerative types of heaters.
14. Abrasion and corrosion, anti-abrasion. Corrosion of low and high temperature, chloride corrosion. Measures against low-temperature corrosion, anti-rust chloride.
