Subject syllabus

- Air protection, basic concepts and relationships. Legislation and organizations in the Czech Republic of air pollution, international conventions.
- Ambient air, its composition and quality. Atmospheric circulation and its layering. Emissions of air pollutants, pollutant transfer and conversion. Dispersion studies.
- Establishment and properties of particulate pollutants and their measurement.
- Methods and technical equipment to reduce particulate emissions
- Establishment and properties of gaseous pollutants. energy and materials in their measurements.
- Methods and technical equipment for reducing emissions of oxides of sulfur and nitrogen combustion processes.
- Disposal of other pollutants in waste gases.
- Transport and exhalation to minimize them.
- Air underground coal mines and similar sites. Mine Ventilation workplaces. Reducing dust, preventive and repressive methods.
