Subject syllabus

The course deals with the protection of air from pollution by industrial solid and gaseous emissions, with emphasis on
Energy, she is also emissions from transport. Students are acquainted with the emergence of emissions, the way of measuring and
technical ways to minimize them.
Main topics (outline) of the object after each weeks (blocks) of instruction:
First legislation
Second Air, pollution, atmospheric circulation, dispersion of pollutants
Third Piping and fans
4th Separation TC, general characteristics, basic separation principles, supporting principles and their combinations
5th Dry mechanical separators
6th Wet mechanical separators
7th electrical precipitators
8th filters
9th Reducing sulfur oxides
10th Reduction of nitrogen oxides
11th Other industrial emissions and their disposal.
12th biological methods
13th Exhalation in transport
14th Reducing emissions from waste incineration
