Subject syllabus

Lectures:
Mathematical models of: DC machines, induction motor, synchronous motors. Means of their simulation.
Methods for modelling and simulation of cycloconverter.
Methods of modelling and simulation of DC/DC converter.
Methods of modelling and simulation of frequency converter with voltage-source inverter controlled by and without PWM and with current-source inverter.
Methods of modelling and simulation of other elements of regulation structures: analog and digital controllers, probes, A/D, D/A converters.

Modelling and simulation of regulation structures with separately excited DC motor.
Modelling and simulation of regulation structures with induction motor supplied by voltage-source inverter.
Modelling and simulation of regulation structures with induction motor supplied by current-source inverter.
Modelling and simulation of regulation structure with switched reluctance motor.
