Evolution of telecommunication technologies in fix and mobile networks.
Intelligent Network, its services, example of Number Portability solution.
NGN architecture and IMS standardization (ITU-T Y.2021).
Signaling protocols NGN (SIGTRAN, Megaco/H.248 and SIP).
Access level (endpoints IP and IAD, access gateways AGW, SG and TMG).
Transport level features and SBC (Session Border Controller)
Control level (softswitch), call control, authentication and authorization, CDR generating.
Service level, requirements for Media Server, call recording.
Portfolio NGN services, implementation in Telefónica O2 and in T-Mobile.
Presence and Instant Messaging, SIMPLE and XMPP.
Directory services in NGN - DNS, X.500 and LDAP, Meta-Directory.
Call centers, interactive voice response systems and VoiceXML.
