Subject syllabus

Lectures:
Requirements for microprocessor control system, block diagram of single processor and multiprocessor system, description of basic blocks.
Current, voltage, speed and position sensors.
Analog signal and its adjustment- amplifiers, limiters, analog memories and analog multiplexers.

Hardware solution of microprocessor control systems with variety of microprocessors, practical examples.
Digital processing of input signals. A/D converters, D/A converters and their practical solutions, block diagrams, circuit diagrams.
Digital processing of output signals from incremental position encoder. Blocks of position and speed sensing, distinguishing of direction of rotation, multiplying of pulses, counter of pulses. Block and circuit diagrams.
Output signals processing. Board of switching pulses, block and circuit diagrams.
Communication with superior system and keyboard. Serial interface. Block diagram of communication unit.
Development resources for design of application software. Assembly of programmatic modules, reciprocal relations.
Realization of programmatic blocks for vector controlled AC drive with asynchronous motor. Principle of vector control with AM. Design of speed control structure.
Realization of software blocks for speed control structure with AM. Reading of A/D data. P, I, PI regulators. Current control.
Control of speed. Block of oriented quantities calculation. Compare and vector pulse with modulation .

Programmable systems. Structure, programming.
Application of programmable systems in control of electric drives.
