Lectures:
Accuracy uf measurement, type of errors, temperature sensors
Analog signal transfer circuit
Operation and instrumentation mplifiers and its errors
Noise in low-level aplification
Filters for measurement signals, active filters analysis, filter errors
Signal quality improvement, analog signal processing
Devices for data conversion, analog-multiplexers
Sampled data, intersample error
Conversion system design, D/A and A/D converters
Problems of sampling frequency determination
Computer-assisted interface analysis software
Special measurement instruments methodology
Introduction into electromagnetic compatibility EMC problematics
Electronic system architecture and standarts


Laboratories:
1. Measurement of the signal chain - noise ratios and errors of its blocks.
2. Measurement of transient characteristics RC system.
3. Measurement of the signal wiring. Calculation examples. Calculation of the interference signal wiring electromagnetic and galvanic coupling.
4. Measurement properties of operational amplifiers.
5. Methodology for designing filters. Measurement of the passive filter. Measurement of the active filter.
6. Temperature measurement with thermocouple and RTD sensor.
7. Distance measurement using ultrasonic sensors.
8. Measurement of the characteristics of stabilizers.
9. AM, FM modulation, measurement and demonstration of their parameters.
10. Measurement of the spectrum analyzer, spectrum of modulated signal.
11. EMC, demonstration measurement of interference.
12. Methodology for measuring vibration demonstration vibration measurements on a physical model.
13. Method of data transmission, the measurement data through the RF module.
14. Credit.

Projects:
* Each student gets assignment of one project to be processed by measuring devices and PC. Time consumption of this project is appx. 20 hours. The title of the project: Design and realization of a measurement system for measuring assigned variables by use Arduino board. The definition of the dynamic characteristics. Design and realization of measuring visualisation with the use of OPC and SCADA/HMI Reliance.
