- List of most important discoveries in microbiology and clarify the meaning of microbiology in relation to the etiology of infectious diseases
- Prokaryotic cell-free fetal systems (prions, viroids, viruses). The organization and general characteristics of the reproductive cycle of viruses
- Morphology and Physiology of procaryotic organisms, focusing on the organizational structure of the procaryotic cell
- Introduction to microbial genetics and molecular biology
- Genetic aspects of variability of microorganisms (mechanism of conjugation, transduction and transformation)
- Microorganisms in the etiology of infectious diseases
- Toxigenic properties of microorganisms
- Nosocomial infections and medical instrumentation
- Basic Immunology and use in health care, methods of investigation.
