Subject syllabus

Lectures
1. Description and parameters of biological signals. Basic concepts, impedance manifestation of the tissues, organs and their use in diagnostics, the voltage generated by the activities of various bodies.
Amplifiers second biological signals, function, design and construction. The recording electrode. Basic parameters of the electrodes (voltage electrode, electric potential, polarization of the electrodes.), Types of electrodes.
3. Physiology movement.
4. A diagnostic device for neurological applications. Equipment requirements, basic parameters and ways of working in EEG, EMG, EGG, additional devices.
5. Apparatus for diagnosing the movements of the human body based on the principles of the use of videos, use of inertial sensors principles and the principles of using arrays of pressure sensors.
6. Determination of spatial orientation and motion detection using advanced mathematical methods and quaternions.
7. Instruments for the diagnosis of stability - posturography podografie.
8. The concept of therapeutic systems, the therapeutic dose, the interaction of physical fields on biological structure, physiological effects.
9. Technical solutions therapeutic systems, schematic block diagrams and parameters of individual blocks of therapeutic systems.
10th Devices ergometrických workplaces as a special form of monitoring, exercise machines.
11th Motor plate and motor apparatus for therapy biomechanical disorders.
12th Ultrasound and ultrasonic methods for biomechanical therapy of disorders.
13th Electrical and magnetic methods for the treatment of biomechanical disorders (galvanotherapy, low- and middle-frequency therapy).
14th Biofeedback therapy biomechanical disorders.

Exercises and practical tasks:
Applications are focused on engineering interdisciplinary addressing the medical, health, sports, traumatic and ergonomic problems today: the physiology of movements, joint ranges (standard measuring instruments and physiological standards), electromyography and electroencephalography, posturography analysis of the biomechanics of general movements using inertial sensors , analysis of gait biomechanics, biomechanics analysis of general movements using video systems, nuts and pressure sensors, biomechanical disorders therapy (motor plate and motor equipment, electrotherapy, ultrasound therapy, biofeedback, mechanical therapy).
