Subject syllabus

Lectures:
Electro-thermal analogy. Thermal system solution with conversion to electric schematic. Thermal capacitance, heat pump.
Thermal inertia, time constant, object, conductor, parameters distribution. Thermal fuse, power pulse response, overload rating.
Cooling with conduction. Analogical relatives s/l type, thermal conduction, thickness of cooling plate, heat pipe. Power transistor cooling, minimization of dissipation.
Cooling with flow. King law, forced cooling with fan, native ventilation (stack effect). Conincidental cooling with flow, conduction and emission.
Termoelectricity. Thermocouple, Peltier, thermostat. Efficiency, theoretic limit, thermal transmittance.
Electronic thermometers. AC and DC with diode, thermistor, pyrometer. Flow sensor, couple of temperature.
Electrodynamic. Impedance transformation, loudspeaker, resonators. Sounding, electro-acousitc, acoustic pressure, speaker system, switches.
Cathode tube, thermal emission, video amplifiers, deflection, luminofors, implosion.
Transformers. Leakage current, safety classes, intermal resistance, frequency response, supersaturation, upper limit of trasnsmitted frequency.
Power sources, voltage doubler, multiplier, pulse stabilizer, EMC, calculation of secondary voltage.
Technical estetic, graphic geometry, music acoustic, optical-acoustic analogy. Series of frequency, frequency central of electronic instrument.
Non-linearities. Thermistor, posistor, surge arrester, relay, non-linear flexibility. References, linearization.
Noise margin. Grounding, noises, el. and mag. field, moisture, photosensitivity, microphony. Grounding of large systems, single shot processes.
Innovation. Rates, innovation cycle, new product, metrology, repairs.

Exercises:
Familiarization with lecture content, safety in laboratory, conduction computing, ceramic resistor, rise of temperature.
Diode, diode in limiting states, calculations.
Analog and switched power supplies, interference, power source design with regrad to interference minimalization, step-up, step-down, inverting switching converters, converters with transformer with galvanic coupling, circuits MC34063 and MAX756.
