Subject syllabus

Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the principles and technologies of construction and research of the current web, commonly referred to as web engineering, including an overview of cybersecurity.

Controlled part of the lecture and individual consultation. In the course the subject will include topics such as:
- Introduction to the Web.
- Models, links and their analysis, ways to rate pages.
- User model in web systems.
- Data collection and pre-processing of texts in native language.
- Principles of semantic web.
- Personalize and search the web.
- Filtration and reference systems.
- Adaptive presentation of site content.
- User experience and ways to evaluate it.
- Web site security.
