Subject syllabus

The course focuses on selected parts of nuclear physics according to the topic of PhD. thesis, in particular:

Properties of atomic nuclei, nucleons and their elementary constituents.
Phenomenological, semimicroscopic and microscopic models of atomic nuclei.
Electromagnetic transitions in atomic nuclei.
Radioactive decay and its theoretical description.
Nuclear reactions (overview, theory and applications).
Neutron physics (properties and interactions of neutrons).
