Subject syllabus

The aim of the subject is to repair and unify knowledge of students from secondary schools.
1. Physical units, SI system
2. Mechanical movement, kinematics.
3. Kinematics of linear motion of mass point.
4. Kinematics of circular motion of mass point.
5. Dynamics, force as a physical quantity, examples of force action.
6. Mechanical work, power, energy.
7. Torque, moment of inertia.
8. Temperature and heat.
9. Basic concepts of thermodynamics - temperature, heat as a form of energy.
10. State equation of ideal gas, processes in gasses.
11. Electrostatics
12. Electric charge and its properties, the construction of the atom.
13. Electric field, characteristics of homogeneous electrostatic field in vacuum (intensity, field lines, potential).
14. Electrical current in metals, DC circuits.
