Subject syllabus

Introduction - the importance, purpose and utilization.
The components of engineering geological conditions affecting the environment in relation to water regime.
Influence of geomorphologic conditions by water.
Engineering geology characteristics and classification of rocks and rock massifs and their effect on water.
Stress rock mass in relation to water regime.
Endogenous, exogenous geodynamic processes and anthropogenic processes in relation to water regime.
Problems of engineering-geological maps and thematic maps, focusing on water.
Evaluation foundation conditions, with emphasis on hydrological effects.
Problems of special engineering geology and engineering geological survey for water structures (dams, water pumping power plant, flood barriers, etc.).
