Elements of the Hydrometeorology

Type of study BachelorFollow-up Master
Language of instruction Czech
Code 541-0053/01
Abbreviation ZHMET
Course title Elements of the Hydrometeorology
Credits 5
Coordinating department Department of Geological Engineering
Course coordinator doc. RNDr. Jan Unucka, Ph.D.

Subject syllabus

Course brings the elementary overview of the hydrometeorology, which is the new and modern discipline within the Earth sciences. Course deals with the particular processes in atmosphere, climatic phenomenon and influences. Closer focus on the hydrometeorological data utilization in the hydrologic models and their consequent postprocessing and vizualization in GIS plays the important role.
