Subject syllabus

The analysis of physical and geographical conditions of sedimentation of
fossil sequences of strata.
Facies and sedimenty environments.
Paleoclimatological aspects in paleogeograhy.
Paleomagnetism and applications of its data.
Movements of lithospheric plates, rotation.
Facies maps, maps of sedimentary environments, isopach maps. Paleobiogeographic and paleogeographic maps and atlases.
Palinspastic schemes.
The position of the Bohemian Massif in the past geological periods.
The position of the units of the Outer Carpathians in the past geological periods.
