Subject syllabus

Statigraphic scales, the biostratigraphic scale and its units. Continental
deposits and a possible abundance of fossils in them. Particularities of the
biostratigraphy of transition sedimentary environments. Biostratigraphy of
marine sedimentary environments. Anoxie conditions. Possibilities of the
employment of biostratigraphic methods in the Precambrian. Principles and
possibilities of biostratigraphic subdivision of individual Phanerozoic
formations.
