1.- Introduction to mining and mining methods.
2.- Environmental impacts of mining.
3.- Social impacts of mining and post mining.
4.- Legal aspects of mine closure and re-utilisation of abandoned mines.
5.- General geomechanical aspects of abandoned underground mines.
6.- Re-usage of abandoned mines for geothermal purposes as well as thermal energy storage systems.
7.- Re-usage of abandoned mines - Use of underground space for energy production
8.- Re-usage of abandoned mines for underground laboratories, museums and showrooms.
9.- Re-usage of abandoned mines for waste storage
10.- Re-usage of abandoned mines as water reservoirs and tread to drinking water, as well as use of underground mineral and hot springs for a spa.
11.- Possibilities of usage of surface infrastructure and brownfields.
12.- Possibilities of utilisation of piles and mine dump.
13.- Reclamation of post-mined landscapes.
