Subject syllabus

1) Characteristics of deposits: non-ore, ore and coal feedstock. Prospecting and exploration deposits, category stocks. Founding quarries and principles for early development.
2) Basic conditions affecting the mining method, the dependence of the physic-mechanical properties. Mining and technical conditions for extraction of raw material.
3) Overburden work in mining in the stone quarries, coal mines and mining gravel and sand quarries and other raw materials. Manners drilling in the quarries. Drilling rigs in the quarry and their use.
4) Mass production at surface mines, mining operations. Blasting large-scale work in the quarry operations. Primary types of blasting and their application in the extraction of raw materials coherent.
5) Mining methods in the quarries for the production of crushed stone. Cyclic-continuous technology. Mobile crushers.
6) Secondary disintegration oversized pieces. Loading of muck from a bench. Choice of optimal loading machine.
7) Mining in clay pits (brick, ceramic, glass materials, clays, shales, etc.) digging materials. Mining for rough blocks of stone production (hard materials).
8) Mining of blocks stone-cutting machines for fine stone production. Preparation of stone.
