Subject syllabus

Anotace
Students will be acquainted with requirements put on mine preservation and decommissioning from the point of view of legislation and technical implementation.



Osnova přednášek:

1. Legislation concerning the question of mine preservation and decommissioning.
2. Legislation concerning the question of decommissioning of mine workings opened to the surface.
3. Mine preservation – possibilities and methods of implementation.
4. Possibilities of technical implementation of decommissioning in conditions of ore and uranium mines.
5. Methods of restoration and reclamation of decommissioned mine sites.
7. Check of conditions of abandoned buildings.
8. Possibilities of subsequent utilization of surface buildings of decommissioned mine.
9. Sample plan of engineering project on mine decommissioning.
10. Social programme in relation to mine decommissioning.
11. Restructuring the mining companies in connection with the phasing out of mining.
12. Analysis of the problems on practical examples.
