Subject syllabus

• Introduction to Geodesy, new fields involved with geodesy, reference bodies of the Earth, system of Geodetic geographic co-ordinates.
• Principles of plane trigonometry, affect of the plumb line toe, differences in the lengths, differences in the angles, differences in the heights.
• Introduction to the Cartography, classification of the maps, cartographic generalization, components of the map (planimetry, altimetry, map lettering, framework).
• Basic concepts of the theory of survey errors and adjustment calculation, classification errors, weights of a measurement.
• Coordinate system in the Czech Republic, obligatory reference systems by 430/2006 coll., systems of projection in the Czech Republic, state map series in the Czech Republic, thematic maps for construction industry.
• Geodetic bases in the Czech Republic, horizontal geodetic control, stabilization of points, their protection and maintenance, vertical control, stabilization of leveling work, vertical datum in the Czech Republic.
• Distance measurement, method of measurement, direct and indirect distance measurement, source of errors,
• Angular measurement, construction of theodolite, basic construction characteristic, optical theodolite, method of measuring angle, instrument for measuring angles, method of measuring angles,
• Heights measurement, method of measurement, geometry leveling, trigonometric leveling, source of error,
• Coordinate computing, bearing and length calculation, computing of forward intersection, resection, type of traverse, derivation of the calculation of traverse oriented on both ends,
• Technology GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite system), system of navigation, method of measurement, GPS equipment division, GPS field procedures, sources of errors,
• Planimetric and altimetry detailed survey, method of measurement, copy of the planimetric and topographic map, calculating of areas and volumes,
• Setting-out the object dimension and ensuring the buildings benches, setting-out of space position, height setting-out tasks, setting-out a line or plane with a given slope,
• History of cadastre of real estates of the Czech Republic, cadastre mapping, cadastral documentation, cadastral map.
