Subject syllabus

1. Introduction to working on a computer, security rules, basics of file organization.
2. MS Word - basic orientation in the environment, document settings.
3. MS Word - text formatting (fonts, paragraphs, alignment).
4. MS Word - basic work with tables, inserting and editing images.
5. MS Word - creating headings, numbered lists, simple tables of contents.
6. MS Word - introduction to styles, using and editing preset styles.
7. MS Excel - basic orientation in the environment, working with cells, formatting tables.
8. MS Excel - simple calculations, basic mathematical functions.
9. MS Excel - creating and editing simple graphs.
10. MS PowerPoint - basic orientation in the environment, creating presentations.
11. MS PowerPoint - formatting slides, inserting text, images and diagrams.
12. MS PowerPoint - basic animations and transitions between slides.
13. Final practical task - application of skills on a sample task.

E-learning

For communication beyond in-person lectures and exercises, the Moodle learning management system (lms.vsb.cz) is used. This platform facilitates communication not only between the instructor and students but also among students themselves.
