Subject syllabus

1st Defining the essentials concepts of management.
2nd Characteristics of managerial work, managerial characters and skills.
3rd Corporate ethics and corporate culture.
4th System approach to management.
5th Meetings and principles of its leadership
6th Managerial functions planning: definition, characteristics of different types of plans, the planning process.
7th Managerial decision-making functions: definition, risk, decompose of time of the decision-making process, decision-making group, types of decision-making methods.
8th Decision-making analysis, modelling and simulation.
9th Managerial functions of the organization: definition, process organization, basic types of organizational structures and their classification, organizational and legal form of business organization and management standards.
10th Managerial functions of personnel management: definition, basic HR activities (eg, selection, evaluation staff remuneration).
11th Managerial functions of management: definition, basic effects on employee performance, motivation and motivation theories, motivational factors, the importance of working groups and the factors affecting their performance and efficiency, the development phase of the team.
12th Managerial control functions: definition, classification review process, recommendations for the implementation of control activities, the trend of development control activities.
13th Communication and presentation skills of manager.
14th Integrated management.

E-learning

For communication beyond the framework of in-person training camps, the Moodle learning management system (lms.vsb.cz) is used, through which communication is enabled not only between the teacher and students, but also between students.
