Subject syllabus

1. Geography as multidiscipline science.
Object and subject of study geography. Geography position of subject. Geography language.
2. Collection of geography data.
Field analytical data. The work with historical and present maps. The individual access for collection data, geography description of area, historical and geographical view. Landscape and ecology access for area. Specially approach - monitoring of landscape.
3. Methodology of geographic research.
Classification. Typology - define landscape type. Areal differentiation. Experiment methods. Cartography methods, construct cartogram, methods of isolines, polygon. Geography and statistics methods.
4. The base source of geography information.
The base source of geography information in Czech republic. Geographical publication and periodic. The base source of data. Map documentation a morphometric analysis of maps. The use of aerophoto and satelite photo for mapping landscape. The use GIS and GPS for mapping of landscape.
5. The analysis variation of potencial landscape.
The assessment of nature landscape potencial. The limit land use.
6. The use of mapping of landscape in territorial planning practice.
The territorial system for ecology stability.
7. Geographical assessment of area investigation.
The characteristics of monitoring area. The interaction of influence antropogenic activity on environment.
