Subject syllabus

1. Determination problems. Basic notions. Processes data acquisition. Basic classification of analytical methods.
2. Basic units of concentration and calculations. Type of interaction. Chemical balances in analytical chemistry. Classification of analytical reaction.
3. Case of analyses – common tissue: exercise formulation and proposal; sampling, sample adjustment before analysis; separative and concentration steps; measurement; measurement interpretation and formulation of results analyses; activities proposal resulting from acquired dates.
4. Sampling, common sampling fundamentals. Standard operational procedure for sampling; system QA/QC.
5. Basic sampling characteristics for abiotic and biotic matrixs. Atmosphere sampling, including passive sampling.
6. Sampling drinking and surface waters; sediment sampling; sampling underground and outlet waters; sampling sludge from sewage disposal plant; sampling soil sphere.
7. Biotic matrixs sampling. Wastes sampling.
8. Sample adjustment before analysis. Analytical method NDRO. Destructive analytical methods: Samle solution and analysis, mineralization.
9. Separative and concentration steps: elimination interference with chemical methods (masking) and physical speparation. Separative methods: dividing according to axiom and according to experimental ordering. Extraction. Separation on ion exchanger. Influence separative of the process.
10. Classification of analytical results and techniques and formulation results of analyses. A ctivities proposal implicit from gained data. GLP. Chemometric principles.
11. Principles of qualitative analyses: classic system of dividing cation – hydrogen sulphide system, analytical anion classes. Next criteria at anion determination. Heteroatoms verification in organic matter.
12. View of basic analytical methods and their common property: method based on weighing, on measuring of volume. Gravimetric analysis: axioms, analytical usage. Basic steps of analyses: sample adjustment, removing, washinh process and filtration, drying, coagulation weighing,concentration calculation .
13. Quantitative chemical analysis. Volumetric analysis (volumetry): common procedure of determination, determination final point of titration, titration curve, calculation of sample content from titrating data. Types of volumetric determination and their application: acidobasic titration, coagulative titration, complex-forming agent titration, redox titration. Axioms, analytical usage.
14. Developments in analytical chemistry - mobile analytics.
