Curriculum:
1. Working environment: starting up AutoCAD, work with files, description of the work surface, description of mouse buttons, using AutoCAD functions and adding of tool panels.
2. Introduction into drawing: setup of drawing units for dimensions and angles of objects, coordinated systems, drawing of line segments, entering of coordinates, grip points, processing of images.
3. Drawing of entities – drawing of circles, ellipses, polygons, arcs, poly-lines and curves. Measuring of geometric properties.
4. Editing functions I. Editing. Selection of specific objects and groups for editing. Deletion, shifting and copying of objects in the drawing.
5. Editing functions II. Cropping, extension, interruption and elongation of objects. Rounding of edges. Creation of object fields.
6. Command-free editing. Introduction into command-free editing. Examples of nodes in various objects. Selection of entities into nodes. Editing by means of nodes. Change of selection settings.
7. Levels, colours and lines. Working with levels. Creation of levels. Controlling visibility of levels. Changes scales of dashed lines. Copying of entity features.
8. Hatching. Principles of hatching. Technology of hatching. Editing of hatching.
9. Using of blocks. Creating of block. Saving blocks as a file. Pasting a block into drawings. Layout of blocks.
