Subject syllabus

Digital image data types and multivariate image statistics. Digital image
formats, conversions. Image preprocessing – radiometric and geometric correction
of remote sensed data. Digital image data geometric transformation. Image
enhancement – radiometric, spatial and spectral enhancement of remote sensed
data. Image classification – supervised and unsupervised classification. Digital
methods of change detection. Hyperspectral data processing and classification.
Radar image data processing.
