- Objects, phenomena and processes of real world. Earth sciences.
- Geometric feature and components of feature description (geometric, thematic, time, relation and functional).
- Spatial analysis using GIS.
- Network analysis. Allocation of resources and path finding. Fire station location planning and service areas design.
- Modelling and visualisation of floods.
- Modelling and visualisation of dangerous chemicals spread in the atmosphere.
- Computer-aided dispatch. Using GIS for emergency call centres of Integrated rescue system (IRS).
- GIS Applications for Fire and Rescue Service Operations
- Using global navigation and positioning systems for data collection and navigation.
- Mobile GIS technologies application.
