Subject syllabus

The aim of the course is to teach students to apply the knowledge of the subject Chemical Engineering to more complex problems, such as to problems involving several unit operations. Problems awarded to students to solve simulate (on the difficulty level corresponding to the knowledge students) problems whose solutions are graduates encounter in operational practice. Students solve the assignments in groups (usually two-man), that is also familiar with the principles of team work. Approach to solving complex: problem analysis, solution selection methods, and data needed to find their own solution to the problem. Students drawn up to tackle a written report and the results of work argue in a joint presentation, taking part in all involved students and teachers.
