Subject syllabus

1. Hardware and software requirements for the PC to perform basic balance calculations in the field of iron and steel metallurgy
2. Microsoft Word - basic features of technical tables, inserting objects from other applications
3. MS Word - Use an editor to create technical reports, using styles, templates, formatting, headings, insert symbols, list, bookmarks, links
4. Preparation and implementation of technical text with embedded images and tables
5. MS Excel - using relative and absolute links, creating tables, references, using functions, formatting text in tables
6. MS Excel - graphs, charts types, formatting, graphs, charts, operations, adding lines to graph
7. MS Excel - basic statistical concepts, data evaluation, using MS Excel. Mathematical and statistical processing of data using the program CurveExpert1.3.
8. MS Excel - using statistical analysis of data by trends, regression equation, value of reliability. Using the coefficient of variation in processing of experimental data.
9. MS Excel - CPU usage for the balance calculations in the field of metallurgy
10. Preparation and implementation of graphical output for a technical reports in Excel environment
11. Microsoft PowerPoint - Use of the technical presentations, inserting pictures, timing, transitions, formatting
12. Preparation and implementation of technical applications in MS PowerPoint
13. Balancing Exercises
14. Credit

To obtain credit in the combined study form is needed to develop a semester project.
