· melting non-ferrous metals, smelting units, physico-chemical processes for the preparation of alloys.
· gases in non-ferrous metal alloys, methods of degassing melts.
· Solidification and cooling of metals and alloys, influence of primary crystallization.

· Metallurgy and technologies based on copper alloys, aluminum and magnesium zinc alloy, nickel, titanium, tin, lead for foundry use.
