Subject syllabus

Theoretical principles of optical spectroscopy methods, instrumentation and methods for measuring absorption and luminescence in the UV-VIS region.
Possibilities of application polarization spectra, methods of correlation spectroscopy, chiroptical methods and principles of correlation spectroscopy.
Interpretation of spectra (and their derivatives) and their use in qualitative and quantitative analysis of analytes in chemical applications.
