Subject syllabus

1. Safety when working with flammable substances, paints, and thinners, and when applying coatings.
2. Technologies used for applying coatings in small-batch and large-batch production.
3. Basic classification of coating materials and their application to surfaces. Selection of a suitable type of coating.
4. Paint booths, preparation workstations, fixtures. Work and settings in the paint booth, correct use of fixtures, setting up the paint booth for drying. Components and accessories of paint booths and their settings.
5. Working with spray guns for the HLVP system, correct settings, work procedures, selection of the correct blasting, types of spray guns for the HLVP system.
6. Anti-corrosion protection and surface preparation for coating application.
7. Surface preparation for car components and bodies, repairing surface defects before applying coatings, troubleshooting.
8. Application of spray fillers and primers, technological preparation for painting, final coat painting. Application of clear coats.
9. Technological procedures for finishing and finalizing surfaces, repair procedures.
10. Progressive technologies for paint application.
