Programme of the lectures

1. Bases of technical normalization, ČSNI-Czech Normalization Institute,
International normalization organizations.

2. Quality management system, quality manual, quality procedures,quality
instructions.

3. Bases of testing. Terms and definitions. Activity of testing laboratory.

4. Standardized testing methods and procedures in the field of material
engineering.

5. New destructive and non destructive testing methods in the field of material
engineering.

6. Measurement uncertainty and its evaluation.

7. Metrology, metrological confirmation

8. Acreditation of testing and calibration laboratories.

9. Certification.

10. Validation

1. Czech technical standards.
2. International and foreign technical standards (ISO, ASTM, GOST,DIN).
3. Standards relating to metals – mechanical testing.
4. Visit of accredited testing laboratory.
5. Elaboration of the results of selected mechanical tests.
6. Quality manual of accredited laboratory of mechanical testing.
7. Difference between standard procedure and quality instruction.
8. Elaboration of quality Instruction for selected test procedure.
9. Basic statistical terms and definitions- statistical tests of significance.
10. Practical application of statistical tests of significance.
