Subject syllabus

Lectures:
1. Systems theory as starting point to quality management systems (QMS). Development concepts of QMS. Special features of QMS at automotive industry.
2. Basic principles of QMS.
3.-4. The top management role at QMS. Benchmarking.
5.-6. Customer satisfaction and customer loyalty measurement. Customer value analysis.
7.-8. Fundamentals of quality economy. Quality related costs at producer and user. Life cycle costing. Qualoity improvement effectiveness evaluation.
9.-10. Partnership with suppliers - programs and processes.
11.-12. Measurements within QMS: process performance measurement, organization perfoprmance measurement. Balanced Scorecard.
13.-14. TQM models. The EFQM Excellence Model and its use. Self-assessment. RADAR logic frame.
Seminars:
1.-2. Processes of QMS modelling.
3. Benchmarking - case study.
4.-5.: Methods of customer satisfaction characteristics application.
6.-8. Customer value analysis project solving.
9. Quality related costs items identification.
10. Design of process performance indicators.
11.-13. Self-assessment - case studies solving.
14. Presentation of student´s projects.
