1. Introduction and overview of renewable energy sources, evaluation of their yield and availability, solar, wind, hydro, hydrothermal
2. Solar radiation properties, photometric quantities, spectrum, blackbody radiation
3. Working principle of solar cell , generation of charge carriers in semiconductor structures, recombination and transport, PN-transition, diode model of solar cell
4. Solar cell structures, optimization of optical and electrical parameters
5. Fabrication of silicon solar cells, preparation of Si wafers, contacting
6. Solar cell output characteristics, I-V characteristics, quantum efficiency, efficiency
7. Solar cell modules, design, mechanical and environmental resistance requirements
8. Other materials for solar cell manufacturing, CIGS, III-V semiconductors
9. Tandem, nanotextured and flexible solar cells based on thin film technology
10. Organic and printable solar cells
11. Energy storage using batteries
12. Solar fuel cells - hydrogen generation using direct solar cells and photoelectrodes
13. Structures of artificial sheets for hydrocarbon fuel production from inorganic electrolyte using electrophotocatalysis.
