Contemporary Philosophy

The students are educated in the basics of philosophy and social sciences. They are capable of philosophic generalisation, systematic and conceptual thinking about concrete problems, forming questions, naming problems, and thus creating conceptual and strategic solutions to sophisticated problems. They know the history of philosophy, main philosophical problems, and schools, predominant philosophical streams and paths, and the key personalities with their works. They are well acquainted with the contemporary philosophical life, know the professional terminology and are able to read common philosophical texts or eventually analyse them critically.
