Subject syllabus

Theory of chromatografic processes.
Gas chromatography – instrumentation, stacionary phase, detectors, optimization of separation, reactionary gas chromatography, sample derivatization vzorků, GCxGC analysis, applications.
Liquid chromatography – instrumentation, stacionary and mobile phase, interaction in liquid chromatography, detectors, optimization of separation, applications.
Supercritical fluid chromatography – theory of supercritical liquids, mobile and stacionary phasese, optimization of separation, applications.
Mass spectromery – theory, instrumentation, mass spectra, applications.
Gas chromatography in connection with mass spectrometry – ionization techniques, ion separation (kvadrupol detectors, ion trap, TOF), optimization of processes, applications. Methods of MS/MS.
Liquid chromatography in connection with mass spectrometry – ionization techniques, ion separation, optimization of mass detector parameters, applications. Methods of MS/MS.
Practical part:
Development and optimization of separation method, validation of methods, measurement uncertainety, evaluation of chromatographic patterns.
